Safetac® Technology
Safetac® is a patented soft silicone adhesive technology. Dressings with Safetac technology are atraumatic upon removal. These dressings minimize trauma to the wound and the surrounding skin, which minimizes pain to the patient.

Instructions for use

1. Make sure the skin is clean and dry and free from any ointment, lotions, etc.
2. Cut off the desired length of tape using scissors.
3. Remove the protective release film and apply Mepitac without stretching.
4. If inspection or repositioning is necessary, Mepitac can be lifted and re-applied.

Precautions
The adhesion of Mepitac may decrease when used in humid condition such as incubators or on patients who have a fever or perspire a lot.
Mepitac is not suitable for fixation of arterial catheters and arterial cannulae.
